Your Passion is Your Power... Speak it Up

My Blog
I believe big part of why people are struggling in becoming the great speaker they aim to be, is the stereotypes about public speaking.
I've been fighting those stereotypes for years. One of the ways I've been using to achieve this, in addition to my sessions and speeches, is writing articles and daily posts on my different social media platforms.
This blog aims to make you understand the real virtue behind public speaking and to make you gain stronger belief in your ability tp speak up with power and confidence.

“It’s Not Public Speaking Fear — It’s Cognitive Overload”
In today's circumstances, many leaders in decision-making roles are operating under sustained stress. In times of uncertainty, it becomes difficult to function in your usual way, even if you’re accustomed to daily pressure. One of the things I’ve observed recently is how this directly affects leaders’ ability to deliver strong messages while maintaining their poise and composure. Ma ny confuse this with public speaking fear because it presents with similar symptoms, but it’s

Brain Fog on Camera? A Better Way to Respond When a Speaker Freezes.
A brain fog on camera? Ouch. At a recent startup pitch show, two presenters stepped up to pitch their product. Strong opening. Smooth transition. Everything was flowing until one of them suddenly froze mid-sentence. What happened next is what caught my attention. Instead of jumping in to finish his thought (the usual move), his co-presenter did something different. She paused, reassured him, and gave him the space to recover. Even on camera, that was a smart call. Because ste

Do You Really Know Why You’re in the Room?
One of the most underestimated causes of ineffective speeches, presentations, and even conversations is the lack of a clearly defined objective . I understand that might sound cliché, but allow me to challenge you on this one. Take a piece of paper, choose an upcoming speaking opportunity, and answer this question: “Why are you here?” Done? Great. Say it out loud. Now imagine that I heard you and I’m asking you, another “Why?” Then write down your second answer as well. Done?

"Spechialized Speakers...Where are you?"
Most of my work time is spent listening, analyzing, and engaging in various business presentations with my clients. So, allow me to hold your hand while I tell you this. You do not have to drift away from your expertise topics to get more speaking opportunities or greater exposure. On the contrary, your positioning will be sustained, and even your speaking fees will be maximized in the long run by the uniqueness of your topics. And let me tell you why. Nowadays, most events c

Is that you? Or a character you’re playing?
Do you speak as yourself or as a character you think people want to see? I’ve been reading about the LinkedIn algorithm lately. Funny thing is, I often write and post exactly the opposite of what most guides suggest. You might find this unorthodox, but I always want to write in a way that feels right to me, in my own style, even if that doesn't translate into high engagement or reach. That’s never been my goal. And I would hate it if someone read this post or any of my writin

Why is presenting to the board scary to many?
During my everyday sessions, I meet at least one client each week who would add board meetings to his list of top challenging public speaking opportunities. And it actually makes a lot of sense. The main reasons why board meetings can be inconvenient for many are fear of being judged, presenting in a high-stakes, highly sensitive environment, fear of raising a conflict, and, in many cases, not having the necessary information upfront. Despite all that, owning your ground duri
